Mini Bus Transportation
Please call the Mini-Bus office at 203-237-3338 to schedule your ride.
Rides are available for Meriden residents age 55 and over and for people with disabilities under age 55. Applications are available in the Mini-Bus Office.
Rides: We provide rides to go shopping, to the bank, the pharmacy, hair salon, convalescent home visiting and to and from the Senior Center. To make a reservation, please call by 12:30pm the day before your ride. Due to full rider demand, if your ride is not pre-scheduled there will be no additional scheduling for that day. Only trips on the schedule will be made; we cannot bring you anywhere other than your scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel your reservation please call the Mini-Bus office starting at 8:00am.
Please see the trip calendar in our monthly newsletter for scheduled shopping trips. There is a strict 2 bag limit for shopping trips.
Medical Appointments: Please schedule medical trips at least 3 days in advance. Only 1 medical appointment can be scheduled per day. Rides are free. We only provide rides for in-town (Meriden) medical appointments.
Funds for medical rides are provided through the City of Meriden, the Connecticut Department of Transportation and the Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut. Donations are gratefully accepted.
